Construction at Nigg facilityBritannia Satellites Skid unitsIsleburn were contacted by Conoco Philips to fabricate 9 skid units ranging from 10 tonnes to 140 tonnes over a 12 month construction schedule.
The range of skids gave Isleburn the opportunity to demonstrate our multi-discipline capability, including Structural Fabrication, Pipework, Electrical and Instrumentation skill sets.
Procurement of structural steel, fabrication, blast and painting
Receipt of carbon and stainless piping materials and equipment, fabrication, installation, painting, insulation, flushing & pressure testing.

Scope included electrical installation with control panel builds and the install and testing of small bore piping for instrumentation controls.
Transport from Nigg Workshop and load out to ships at Nigg quayside
