Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2009 (No. 16 of 2009), Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan

Vishwavidyalaya hereby makes the following Rules relating to eligibility of admission in two

year's Animal Husbandry Diploma course in 05 Animal Husbandry colleges/training institutes of

the State:

1. Short title:-

These Regulations may be called as Animal Husbandry Diploma Course Admission Rules,

2013.

2. Definitions:-

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires--

2.1 "Act" means the Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan VishwavidyalayaAdhiniyam, 2009 (No. 16 of 2009);

2.2 "Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee" means the Academic Councilconstituted by the Vishwavidyalaya under the Act for the supervision and guidance

of admission process and for the fixation of fee to be charged from candidates

seeking admission in training institutes of university;

2.3 "Annexure" means Annexure appended to these rules;2.4 "Common Entrance Test" means an entrance test, conducted for determination of

merit of the candidates followed by centralized counseling for the purpose of meritbased on admission to training institutes of the of university through a single window

procedure by the Vishwavidyalaya;

2.5 "Competent Authority" means any authority as authorized by the Vishwavidyalaya inthis behalf;

2.6 "Fee" means, constitution of Fees Regulation Committee as per provisions ofMadhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya, Act 2009;

2.7 "Institutional" head means Head of the institution of college/training institute;2.8 "Qualifying Examination" means the examination of the minimum qualification,

passing of which entitles one to seek admission into the relevant diploma course as

prescribed in these rules;

2.9 "Single Window System" means a system by which available seats in all theinstitutions are offered through Common Centralized Counseling to qualified

candidates in the order of merit in the Common Entrance Test;

2.10 Vyapam" means Madhya Pradesh Vyavasayik Pariksha Mandal, Madhya PradeshBhopal;

2.11 The words and expressions used but not defined in these rules shall have the same

meaning as assigned to them in the Act.

3. Applicability:-

These rules shall be applicable to notified colleges/institutes of Madhya Pradesh Pashu

Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya which are conducting Animal Husbandry Diplomacourse.

4. Admission Rules:-

Admission rules for year 2012-13 and onwards--

In all veterinary training institutions the procedure for admission for admission shall be

as under:-

4.1 Availability of Seats:-

Number of seats available in various diploma training institutions shall be as follows

(Table 1):-

4.2 Allocation/Reservation of seats:-

In every college/training institutions 16%, 20% and 14% seats of total seatsshall be reserved for the candidates belonging to scheduled casts/scheduled

tribes and other backward classes (excluding creamy layer of other

backward classes category) respectively as notified by the State Government

in this regard (Table 2). In each category, 30% seats will be reserved for

female candidates horizontally, If, in any category women candidates seats

remained unfilled, then seats lying vacant will be filled by male candidates

of the same category.

4.3 Conversion of seats

In case, the eligible candidates to the extent of reservations in any category are not

available, the vacant seats will be filled by making them available in other categories as

given below :-

4.3.1 The vacant seats of ST category shall be filled up by the eligible SC categorycandidates.

4.3.2 The vacant seats of SC category shall be filled up by eligible ST categorycandidates.

4.3.3 In case, the eligible candidates to the extent of reservation in ST and SCcategories are not available, the vacant seats shall be filled up by eligible OBC

category candidate.

4.3.4 In case, the eligible candidates are not available in these above three reservedcategories in the above manner, the vacant seats shall then be filled up by the

eligible unreserved category candidates.

4.3.5 Disabled persons are not eligible for Animal Husbandry Diploma Course

4.4 Eligibility for admission:--

As decided by the Competent Authority of Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan

Vishwavidyalaya

4.4.1 Educational Qualification:-

Must have passed 12th higher secondary examination under 10+2 with science

subject (Zoology/Mathematics/Agriculture) from Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal

Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal or equivalent or other recognized board with minimum

50% marks. Relexaction of 5% marks will be given to the candidates of SC/ST.

4.4.2 Age limit for admission:-

As on 31st December candidate must have attain the age of 17 years but not more

then 28 years. The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to maximum limit of 5

years as prescribed by Government from time to time. If a candidate happens to be

a woman, Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward classes.

4.4.3 Subjects of question paper:- The question paper will consist of 40 questions of

Physics, 40 questions of Chemistry & 20 questions of General Knowledge. Eachquestion will carry 1 mark. The syllabus for the Physics & Chemistry will be as per

enclosed course outline (Chapter-IV)

4.5 Manner of Admission:-

Common Entrance Test conducted by Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan

Vishwavidyalaya through Madhya Pradesh Vyavasayik Pariksha Mandal. Madhya

Pradesh Vyavasayik Pariksha Mandal shall prepare merit and waiting list on the basis of

marks obtained by candidates in Common Entrance Test and shall provide to

Vishwavidyalaya.

4.6 Procedure of Admission:-

4.6.1 The admission into all Animal Husbandry Diploma training college/institutions shall be

made through single window system in the order of merit on the basis of ranking in

Common Entrance Test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Vyavasayik Pariksha

Mandal, Bhopal.

4.6.2 All these admission shall be done through centralized counselling conducted by the

Vishwavidyalaya. Five members committee as follows will be constituted by the

competent authority.

4.6.3. Management of training Institute shall not issue notification/ advertisement and call for

application for admission separately or individually. University shall complete all

formalities of concerning subject as per norms.

4.6.4. If a candidate fails to present himself/herself for Counselling or fails to produce the

relevant certificates in original in prescribed proforma, he/she shall loose his/her chance

of selection of Seat and Institution. However, if he/she produces documents at a later

stage, the same may be considered for Counselling in that event, he/she shall be entitled

to, select the seat and institution available at that point of time. If a candidate does not

turn up even on the last day of Counselling, it shall be deemed that he/she is not

interested in taking admission and shall forfeit the right of admission.

4.6.5. If a candidate fails to present himself/herself on the date of Counselling because of

serious illness or accident and is admitted in the hospital, then his/her guardian/parents

may be permitted to appear in the Counselling on his/her behalf, provided the concernedcandidate submits an authority letter to this effect along with a medical certificate issued

by the concerned Chief Medical Offficer/Civil Surgeon as a proof of illness or

hospitalization. If at any stage it is found that the information provided by the candidate

was wrong, then the admission is liable to be cancelled.

4.6.6. Once a candidate has taken admission in an institution during the process of Counselling

he shall not be permitted to change it in that phase of counselling.

4.6.7. Once a candidate is admitted in a particular institution through Counselling, no transfer

of institution shall be permitted.

4.6.8. If there is subsequent round of counselling, the candidates left over during first round

shall be called and shall be allotted to Institutions having vacant seats on the basis of

merits and priority.

4.6.9. The successful candidates shall have to deposit fees as prescribed by the

Vishwavidyalaya at the time of counselling. The fees once deposited will not be

refunded at any cost.

4.7 Cancellation of Admission: -

4.7.1 If at any stage it is found that a candidate has got admission in any institution on the

basis of false or incorrect information or by hiding relevant facts or if at any time after

admission it is found the admission was given to the candidate due to some mistake or

oversight, the admission granted to such a candidate shall be liable to be cancelled

forthwith without any notice at any time during the course of his/her studies by the

Competent Authority.

4.7.2 The candidates found eligible after counselling will deposit required fees for taking

admission. Fees once deposit will not be refunded back at any cost.

5. Tuition and other Fees:-

Tuition and other fees shall be as prescribed by the Academic Council of the

Vishwavidyalaya.

6. Modification to rules/procedures:-

The Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya reserves the rights to

amend/provision/rules/procedure for admission.

7. Jurisdiction: -

In case of any dispute, the jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Honble High Court of

Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur only.

Syllabus For Animal Husbandary Diploma Entrance Test - 2013

(A) Physics

Unit and dimensions, dimensional analysis, S.I. Units, Motion in two dimensions Cases of

uniform velocity and uniform acceleration, General relation between position and velocity,

Uniform circular motion, Force and inertia. Newton's Laws of motion. Conservation of

momentum and energy. Static and kinetic friction. Work energy and power collisions,

potentialenergy, gravitational potential energy and its angular conversion to kinetic energy.

Potentialenergy of a spring, Rigid body rotation and conservation of its momentum. Moment of

inertia, theorems of parallel and perpendicular axis. (Moment of inertia of uniform ring, disc,
