Additional Information on Rates Activities

The above rates include: The Community Focus Donation of USD25 per person per booking, the Conservation and Wildlife Fund (CWF) / Levy of USD20 per person per night, departure taxes, internal flights, accommoda-tion, all meals, beverages, laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance (Personal Travel Insurance still required), return shared internal road transfers and flights, National Parks Fees, 2 shared activities per full day.

The above rates exclude regional/international flights, visas fees, items of a personal nature.

RSP = Recommended Selling Price Rates are per person, in USDSingle rates quoted are only applicable for guests travelling alone, if you have a single travelling with other guests please contact us for a quote.

The Conservation and Wildlife Fund (CWF) / Levy is a compulsory USD20 per person per night applicable for all guests staying in our Zimbabwe Camps.

The Community Focus Donation of USD25 per person per booking is voluntary, and goes towards specific projects that the African Bush Camps Foundation are working on.

Linyanti Bush Camp & Linyanti Ebony: Morning, afternoon & night game drives, walking safaris, mokoro (subject to water levels), 30 minute scenic helicopter flight based on minimum 3 night stay between April and November (1 flight per stay), additional 30-minute scenic helicopter flights available at USD250 per person, minimum 2 people per flight.

Linyanti Expeditions: Morning, afternoon & night game drives, walking safaris, mokoro (subject to water levels).

Khwai Tented Camp & Khwai Bush Camp: Morning, afternoon & night game drives, walking safaris, mokoro (subject to water levels), Khwai Village visits.

Somalisa Camp, Somalisa Acacia & Somalisa Expeditions: Morning & afternoon game drives, walking safaris, Hwange Main Camp village visits, Mambanje Village visit (private vehicle required at associated costs for Mambanje Village Visit).

Nyamatusi Camp & Nyamatusi Mahogany: Morning & afternoon game drives, canoe safaris, walking safaris, catch & release shore fishing.

Kanga Camp: Morning & afternoon game drives, walking safaris, armchair safari, and photographic hide (water level dependent).

Zambezi Expeditions: Morning & afternoon game drives, canoe safaris, walking safaris, catch & release shore fishing.

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge: Morning, afternoon & night game drives, walking safaris, boating, fishing, village visits, sunset cruises, Spa (additional costs apply).

Thorntree River Lodge: Game drives in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, rhino tracking, bush walks, sunrise & sunset boat cruises, Simonga Village visits, a visit to Zambian side of the Falls, a visit to the Zimbabwean side of the Falls in low water season (excludes visa fees), visit to the Livingstone Museum, canoe trips, visit to Maramba & Makuni Markets, catch & release shore fishing (not available in December due to breeding season), Spa (additional costs apply).

• Every 10th full paying guest will stay free of charge at all African Bush Camps properties

The child rates have been costed for children ages 7 to 15 years old. Children aged 16 and above pay adult rates. Please contact your dedicated consultant for a quote on children under 7 years.

Private vehicles are available at select camps at a rate of USD500 per night, subject to availability. Private vehicles must be hired for the entire length of stay at the camp.

Guests travelling with a private guide will be required to pay for a private vehicle for the duration of their stay at our camps.

Registered (Zim or Bots) Private Guides stay at African Bush Camps properties Free of Charge in our guide accommodation (Additional transfers are excluded).

Non-registered Private Guides staying in Guide Accommodation pay USD200 per night.

Provisional reservations will be held for 14 days, unless date of travel is within 3 months of enquiry date, at which time we will only hold for 7 days (respectively) at which time we require a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking, otherwise the booking will expire and be released from our system.Final payment is on the original invoice and must be received at African Bush Camps at 8 weeks prior to travel. No guest may travel unless we have received full pre-payment. Our standard booking conditions apply to all travel arrangements. If you need a copy of these please request these from us and we can email this to you.

20% non-refundable deposit at time of confirmationCancellation within 8 – 4 weeks prior to date of travel will incur a 50% fee of total cost of safariCancellation within 4 – 2 weeks prior to date of travel will incur a 75% fee of total cost of safariCancellation within 2 weeks of travel, as well as no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the safari program will be forfeited to include handling fees and liquidated damagesBooking conditions apply to all travel arrangements with African Bush Camps.

It is a requirement that guests have adequate travel insurance to cover them for unexpected medical emergencies, cancellation for medical reasons, delays or cancellations due to weather conditions as a minimum.

National Parks and Conservation Fees may be subject to change and African Bush Camps cannot be held liable for unexpected changes to Park Fees, and Government Tariffs. Roads in the bush are rough and bumpy, guides occasionally travel "off road" and injuries can occur. African Bush Camps, their staff members, associates or agents cannot be held liable for any accidents or any damages. Most places booked for travel are in wild and remote parts of Africa with dangerous wildlife and often harsh terrain; hence you will be exposed to potentially hazardous activities. African Bush Camps, its associates, partners and staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss of life or damage whatsoever during and after the travel arrangements.

Most of our guides and staff are keen photographers and to enhance your experiences and enjoyment, photographs may be taken of your safari, some of which may be used for promotional purposes. African Bush Camps and its partners reserve the right to use these images without the consent of any one appearing in the images or photographs; however you can be guaranteed that no photographs of a compromising nature will be used for such purposes.

African Bush Camps is committed in ensuring that your travel arrangements remain according to plan. African Bush Camps and its partners and associates may alter, cancel or change travel arrangements at any time should they feel it justified in the interest of safety. Such changes will be communicated timeously in order for alternative arrangements to be made where necessary. It is assumed that the deposit payment and your final amount paid is because you have agreed to the terms and conditions set out by African Bush Camps, its associates and related companies and partners and thereby will not hold liable any claim against any person or organization as a result of any changes, cancellations, damage to one’s property, injury, death and any other unforeseen occurrences whether it is due to negligence by one or more of our staff or any company. Therefore, you have indemnified the various organizations and individuals aforementioned in any such events.
