The heat exchange elements are 8 inches (200 mm) aluminum construction from tip to tip, with internal fins providing additional surface for a maximum performance. The KAF and BAF series elements are taller than the HAF and can therefore provide more capacity. The UAF model is Cryoquip’s high efficiency Uniflo fan ambient vaporizer. The UAF is the most efficient high capacity vaporizer in the industry. The 100% counter flow design provides for the greatest heat transfer efficiency and structurally the most reliable design. In many instances, fan units may provide an economic advantage over natural draft vaporizers, especially at higher capacity where electric power is available and high capacity are required in small plot spaces. Multiple units can be used to suit a wide range of performance requirements. • These vaporizers offer ample exchange surface to permit substantial short-term accumulation of ice not blown off by the forced air flow. Brief periods of no load operation at temperatures above freezing also allow the unit to begin shedding accumulated ice. All models consist of Cryoquip’s Alpine 800 extended height heat transfer elements with a direct drive fan assembly at the top to force air downward through the heat exchange array. HAI 800-SXX SeriesThe new HAI 800 high pressure series cryogenic fluid vaporizers have all the benefits of the original HA Series high pressure units for intermittent operation and for 8 hours of continuous service PLUS the following enhanced structural characteristics:• New, improved unitized construction yields the highest structural strength to cost ratio
available, and precludes the use of welds that cannot be heat treated, thereby maintaining the greatest structural integrity.
• Employs unique Cryoquip patented “spar” link design; a unique, efficient attachment method enhancing load carrying capability.
• Can be handled with a fork lift without the vaporizer sustaining damage.
Additionally the following features are still preserved:• Extra capacity. Each finned aluminum heat transfer element features eight fins which
measures 8 inches from tip to tip and provides high capacity performance and fast defrosting. Elements have approximately five square feet of external heat exchanger surface per foot of length.
Enhanced heat transfer. The pressure retaining liner for pressures up to 7500 psig is hydrostatically expanded into each finned element to provide a 100% metal to metal bond between the aluminum element and the stainless steel liner. This produces the highest possible effective heat transfer rate and eliminates inefficiency and potential sealing problems associated with the use of heat transfer fluids between the liner and the finned element, as well as inefficiency resulting from the air gaps characteristics of “clamp-on” or glued elements.

UFV Uniflo® SeriesCryoquip’s UFV Uniflo® Series ambient air vaporizer is an entirely new, patented* concept in high-flow natural draft vaporizers, designed for ambient air vaporization of cryogenic fluids. The Uniflo® vaporizer had significant advantages over conventional designs for high flow service. The heat transfer elements are connected in parallel, which eliminates the differential thermal gradients between extrusions.Counter flow heat exchange between the downward flow of air in natural convection and the upward flow of the cryogenic in the vaporizer improves the thermal performance substantially compared to conventional designs with the same surface area.Ice accumulates safely during continuous operation in the lower part of the vaporizer with ice free extrusions protruding out of the ice pack. The low ice build-up lowers the center of gravity and therefore, reduces structural requirements in meeting the Uniform Building Code (UBC).

Vacuum Insulated PipeworkCryoquip is a world leader in Vacuum Insulated pipe work. Many users around the world refer these lines as SIVL (Super Insulated Vacuum Line) or VIP (Vacuum Insulated Pipe) or similar terms. Cryoquip can supply lines in all sizes up to 12" inner and in both tube and pipe sizes. Cryoquip builds these lines in easily transportable and installable individual spools. Each spool has its own vacuum jacket, with its own vacuum / relief port. The vacuum line spools may be connected either by our special low heat in-leak bayonet connec-tion or with sleeved butt weld connections. Our lines incorporate unique piping and bellows systems to ensure that internal pipe stresses are minimized and there is minimal heat inleak from external ambient heat sources.The outer jackets of the line are available in polished tube or mill finished scheduled pipe. The spools may be insulated in either multi layer insulation or aluminized mylar insulation. Super Insulated Vacuum LineCryoquip has been a highly specialized manufacturer and installer of “static” Super Insulated Vacuum Line for handling low temperature fluids since 1986. The vacuum insulated piping comprises of an inner tube & outer jacket for transfer of mainly cryogenic fluids. The inner tube holds, the outer tube maintain the vacuum insulation and bears the external loads.The SIVL is divided into sections that are fully fabricated and tested in the factory prior to shipment. The vacuum lines are available in both Bayonet Or Butt-Weld connections. The sectionscan be rigid, flexible or a combination of both.
