About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking highly motivated college students to participate in our Private Banking Summer Internship Program. Private Banking is committed to helping business owners and those with substantial wealth achieve their financial goals. We serve both corporate and private clients throughout the cycle of wealth creation, transition, preservation and growth. Our goal is to become the trusted advisor to our clients by leveraging our intellectual capital and reputation, offering objective advice and putting our clients’ interests first. Internship opportunities are available in our Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York offices in the following areas: Corporate Advisory & Banking, Private Wealth Management, Private Equity, Risk and Strategy.

The ExperienceOur internship program provides you with the opportunity to get to know all aspects of our Private Banking division. As an intern, you’ll work full time on projects dedicated to current business needs and receive training and guidance that enable you to make an impact. With formal orientation, ongoing training, interesting work and feedback throughout the program, we provide numerous ways to support your development and help you succeed. Our organized social and volunteer events will also help you build a vital network of colleagues, mentors and friends.

Preferred Qualifications• Currently a junior in college, entering senior year in fall 2017

• Strong academic achievement, as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher

• Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities

• Interest in business coupled with an understanding of financial services – including banking and investing

• Effective communication skills, written and verbal

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically

• Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve problems

• Ability to prioritize competing demands

• Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success

• PC proficiency, specifically in MS Office
