To our fans:

What is summer movie without aliens invade, fist fight, car chases, monsters stomp, missiles fire, people run, zombies swarm, bullets fly, building collapse, spaceships fly and superheroes rescue.

Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 hits theaters on May 3rd. The premiere marks the start of 2013 Summer movie season in America. According to Variety, 2012 Summer movie box office was up 2% from 2011. Action movies dominate 2013 Summer. With a action packed lineup like these, e.g., Iron Man 3, Kick Ass 2, Star Trek into Darkness, The Lone Ranger, Ranger, Ranger The Hangover 3, Man of Steel, Pacific Rim, and The Wolverine, We are sure 2013 Summer movie box office total will surpass 2012’s.

We included a brief list of performers that will appear in 2013 Summer movie season.

Enjoy.

Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, and Ben Kingsley round out the film’s principal cast.

After the release of Iron Man 2 in May 2010, Favreau decided not to return as director, and in February 2011 Black was hired to rewrite and direct the film. Throughout April and May of 2012, the film’s supporting cast was filled out, with Kingsley, Pearce, and Hall brought in to portray key roles. Filming began on May 23, 2012 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The film was shot primarily in North Carolina, with additional shooting in Florida, China and Los Angeles. SUMMARY:“The Great Gatsby” follows Fitzgerald-like, would-be writer Nick Carraway as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz and bootleg kings. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby, and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

AFTER EARTH

Will Smith conceived this story when he was watching the television show I Shouldn’t Be Alive with his brother-in-law Caleeb Pinkett. Alive with his brother-in-law Caleeb Pinkett. Alive

It was originally not a science fiction story but about a father and son crashing their car in the mountains or some remote region, with the son having to go out and get rescue for his father.

Will Smith then decided to change the setting to 1000 years in the future, which imposed a higher budget. Smith had his production company Overbrook contact script writer Overbrook contact script writer OverbrookGary Whitta with a simple log line for a movie: a father and son crash landed on Earth 1000 years after it had been abandoned by humankind.

But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. The project was delayed following Aronofsky’s departure and the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunamin March 2011. In June 2011, Mangold was brought on board to replace Aronofsky and Bomback was hired to rewrite the screenplay in September 2011. The supporting characters were cast in July 2012 with principal photography beginning at the end of the month in New South Wales before moving to Tokyo in August 2012 and back to New South Wales in October 2012.

The people of Earth are desperate to escape the crime and poverty that is now rampant throughout the land. The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.
