PSPB proposed to prohibit “republication” — submitting “substantially duplicate” Conference Record papers to Transactions
TAB voted NOT TO ENDORSE
Conferences is working with PSPB to revise
Trying to allow republication via labeling(e.g., have “preprints” in Xplore, and allow “preprints” and “archival” papers to be substantially duplicate)

CrossCheck tool selected
Supplied at no charge (for now)– Only to conferences where IEEE holds copyright

Past Use Has Been Outcome Focused–Work on 2013 conferences focused around acquiring
materials, not creating usable system
Now Requiring All Conferences to Use NetSuite to Record Transactions–System credentials being distributed to all approved financially sponsored conferences
