Keyboard layout has an easy visual mnemonic. Or type two digit numbers from the number pad

when scroll lock and num lock are both on. (06 for shaft 6, 16 for shaft 16)

Smart Cursor/KeyboardCtrl s toggles the smart cursor; a cursor key sets

the direction of movement, right, left, up, down. Once the smart cursor is on and the direction is set, keyboard input can be used. The visual mnemonic mapping allows entry up to 40. (4 is shaft 4, r is 14, f is 24, v is 34.)

Colors are input with Caps Lock on.Symbols are input with Scroll Lock on.The number pad can also be used forShafts/treadles up to 99.

Cursor Keys and SpacebarUsing the smart cursor (Ctrl s) and the numeric pad

corner keys to set diagonal direction, holding down the space bar will enter a straight draw. Diagonal direction can be switched by using Ctrl spacebar.
