refugees.• Key feature is “Help Me”, a step-by-step guide for government

processes, like getting a work permit in Turkey.

Alles Klar• Alles Klar connects German speakers with refugees that need

translation help for: registrations, opening a bank account, understanding letters and other complicated bureaucratic procedures. • Content available in English, Arabic, Urdu and Farsi.

Crisis Info Hub• Mobile browser app made by Google in partnership with International

Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps.• Aims to disseminate hyperlocal information to refugees in a

lightweight, battery-saving way.

Welcome App Dresden• The Welcome-App-Project Dresden offers refugees and asylum

seekers all required information about Germany and Dresden, general and legal advice as well as giving relevant contacts and public authorities.

Hackathons for Refugee Apps• German startup

Memorado launched hackathon to develop apps for refugees as part of its #hackweek15• The goal was to “Make 4

apps in 4 teams in 4 days that help refugees in their daily life”
