Exploitation, manipulation and violation of the

rights of others.

Child abuse

Alcoholic parents

Symptoms: Flattering people, manipulating

emotions Repeatedly breaking the law Substance abuse Stealing, lying, fighting often Prevalent anger and arrogance

Effects: Drug abuse Violence Suicide Imprisonment

AVOIDANT PERSONALITY DISORDER

Mental condition of extreme shyness and sensitivity.

Symptoms: Preoccupation with problems Sensitivity to rejection/losses Rejection /loss: time is spent alone. Easily hurt when criticized.

Reluctance to connect with people Avoidance of activities involving

contact with people Fear of doing anything wrong Under-estimation

Effects: Isolation Substance abuse Depression

BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER

Unstable emotions about self and others

Causes: Genetic/family/social Abandonment in tender years Unstable family life Physical abuse
