A Better Return on Words !

Drew Bartkiewicz @lettrs

Every action in life is an investment

So what do we invest in that lasts?

Tomorrow = abundance

1.4 Billion tweets per week 3.5 Billion Facebook posts per week

1.5 Billion non-spam emails per week

A law of Abundance:

That which exists in greater surplus has less value, less

impact, less meaning.

So what becomes scarce?

Words in 2014

Writing, Publishing, Repeating, Copying

Fast social has led us to believe everything in life done faster, wider, more shallow…is better.Digital has set our pace.We skim, we skip, we scatter.

We are investing in functional words, common words, even less words. Meaning becoming…scarce.

Do what you can discover about tomorrow today?

Words and how to use them.

Words are the foundation of how we think.

Words are the basis for how we inspire.

"Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work."~ Daniel Hudson Burnham (1846-1912)

Words define who we are.

“The difference between the right word and the almost right word is like the difference between lightning and a lightning bug”~ Mark Twain

MIDWAY upon the journey of our life I found myself within a forest dark, For the straightforward pathway had been lost. ~ Longfellow (1867)

Every word in life is a choice.

Every minute an investment.

Social media investment is not automatically a people investment.Fast social in the absence of slower social is no social at all.

And herein lies the secret. Words matter…Because people do.

Make your words worth someone else’s time. !
