Lake Okeechobee Update• This has been a very wet year• Current lake elevation: 15.6’• Last year elevation: 15.11’• 2 years ago: 10.93’• At 16.0’ elevation – 1% failure• At 18.0’ elevation – 45% failure• At 21.0’ elevation – 100% failure• Rate of inflow is 6 times greater

than outflow.• Of the 32 lake culverts to be

replaced or removed;– 12 are under contract– 1 is under construction– 1 has been replaced– Completed by 2018
