We tend to remember negative messages and minimize positive ones

Additionally, the way that we THINK other people see us affects the way we see ourselves

DEVELOP AN ACCURATE SELF-CONCEPT

Self-concept affects our intrapersonal communication

How we make decisions and solve problems (Our confidence in our ability affects our confidence in our decisions)

Our behavior (we live up to our own expectations)

How we process feedback (we focus on messages that support our self-concept, and reject those that do not)

Beliefs- What you think is true Attitude- Predisposition to respond in a

certain way based upon your values and beliefs

Feelings-your emotional responses to events, people, or places.

Chose the words that you use to describe yourself carefully.
