RegistrationYou have the right to register

Your registration will be automatically deactivated in September

Your country in eTwinning is Italy

First check with your tutor if the school is already registered (better if your tutor registers first)

If not you will need some info as address, telephone number, Headmaster name, the school’s email and gov. code etc.

When you will work in your own school, you will change the country and add the new school

3. The TwinSpaceTools for eTwinning Projects

Once you find a partner and agree on the project activities with your tutor and your partner, you can start an eTwinning project.

Two founders teachers from schools of different countries (later extendable to more partners).

No subject or time limits, no deadlines, quick approval procedure, everything is online…

Each eTwinning project has:

A Blog where only teachers talk about the project step by step, share ideas and materials with the community

A Project Card where teachers communicate with their NSS

Each eTwinning project has:

A TwinSpace: a virtual class for pupils and teachers that encourages and facilitates collaboration, communication, sharing, and interaction.

It’s a safe and multilingual virtual workplace with tools like mail, calendar, blog, wiki, forum, chat and the possibility to share and publish video, pictures and other files.

General suggestions for projects proposed by Comenius Assistants

Always talk about your project ideas with your tutor and agree with them the kind of school to contact in eTwinning, the content of the project, privacy issues etc.

Try to involve other teachers, according to the kind of project you will be working on (eTwinning is not only for foreign language teachers!)

If you are linked to a school in your home country, you could put it in contact with the Italian school you are working in and give birth to an eTwinning project

Even if you are not linked to a school in your home country, you can still try to find an eTwinning school from your regional area and create a project with it

You can create an eTwinning project with other Comenius assistants working in Europe!

When you leave your host school in Italy and become a teacher in your country, you might want to keep in contact through an eTwinning project!

- you could either convince your tutor to register the project, so that when you leave the country they won’t have to close the project. Once the project is approved, you can be added to it as a third member.

Since your stay in Italy is short termed, here are some suggestions for your project:

• or work on short term projects. Plan some activities that can be carried out during your stay in Italy. Get inspiration from kits and modules! It would still be advisable to invite your tutor to the project.

Only invited teachers, pupils and guests can take part. It is not accessible or visible from outside, unless you decide so. You are responsible for who you invite!

You can decide, together with your tutor, what to make public and what to keep private! Pictures of pupils and sensitive data should always be private!
