Payments Exception Handling Basics You spent Day One learning about payment systems basics, including rules, regulations and risk. Now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and tackle exception items. Learn how to handle those transactions that don’t post the first time around and work through several exception situations as a group to determine how best to resolve them.
Responding to ACH Risk Assessments & Audits FindingAttendees will take a look at the most commonly identified audit exceptions from an auditor’s perspective and identify the ACH Rules that apply to those exceptions. Methods to monitor compliance and tips on how to talk to them about their responsibilities will also be covered.

During this hands-on session, investigate real-life case studies to help you better understand whether certain items should be returned or adjusted as well as the process you need to follow in order to do so appropriately.

10:20 a.m ACH and Wire Transfer OriginationIn this session you’ll focus on wire transfer and ACH origination, which are used primarily by businesses to make payments to business partners and consumers alike. Examine what is involved in the origination process of both payment systems.
Federal Government Reclamations Acceptance of Federal Government ACH payments obligates the RDFI to 31 CFR Part 210 and the procedures in the Green Book. For the most part, Federal Government payments adhere to the ACH Rules, but reclamations are another story. We’ll provide an overview of your requirements and liability regarding government payments and dig into some real-life case studies.
