- Drivers are provided with a set of generic route cards periodically giving them the lowest mileage route for principal journeys- There is some measurement and monitoring of actual miles run vs. minimum possible mileage by transport route with performance management by exception- Load planning is a combination of manual process and transport planning software which attempts to optimise drop sequence and appointment times to minimise miles run
