Symposium Issues:Symposium Issues: What is the process by which clinical simulation equipment is selected ?
Who is involved in selection?Where is the equipment to be located ?
How have curricular changes affected (or been affected by) new simulations ?
What costs are associated with the simulations? Who pays for it?Initial purchase?Maintenance costs?Replacement tissues (including teeth, gingivae, face masks, etc.) ?

Symposium Issues:Symposium Issues: How does clinical simulation affect scheduling of facilities ?Integration of simulation / preclinical training with clinical teaching ?How is computer support managed ? Are simulated patient records presented differently than for clinical patients ?How are clinical equipment and supplies managed in simulation ?Are student evaluation and competency issues handled any different than before simulation was installed ?What are your school’s plans for change ?
