You must be New...Not even Close...Matter of Fact..Nothing that Invicta has made is a

Jeez, man... cut the guy some slack lest we turn into one of the other "watch snob" forums.
I think he clarified his point so no need to slam the guy.

Perhaps the OP misstated his heading; he's since clarified. I own Breitling, so I am well
aware of the quality. That stated, I agree that the SAS (original version) is among the best
Invicta has/had to offer. I owned both the 251.272 quartz as well as the 7750, and I enjoyed
them as long as I had them. Compliments...SURE! It's a very impressive looking watch, IMO.

( R U Saying) Take a breitling in one hand and a Sas in the other and wack them together.
My bet would be on the Sas. I think it would kill the b to death.lol I would not try it but I
would bet on it.

I think you can more then favorably compare what you get with the SAS quartz and a Tag
Heuer Formula 1 Quartz or even an Omega quartz for money spent. A very well designed,
well made Invicta no doubt.

My brother collects Rolex, Tag, Breitling, etc. We often meet for dinner. He is
wearing one of his collection, and I am wearing an SAS, VENOM, LEVIATHAN,
SANIV, ETC. More often than not, a waiter or a waitress will ask if the watch being
worn is a ROLEX, ETC. I answer no since the question is asked of me. It is only an
Invicta, I exclaim!!!! My brother gets really upset by this. Oh well, only a little
mistaken identity!!!! HA HA HA HA

In all honesty, maybe you should have owned a Breitling before creating such a thread, jmo.

I am also a proud SAS owner, here's my 5217. It is a nice INVICTA...no more, no less OP,
my local COSTCO had a Breitling for under $6K (IIRC, it was a SA), maybe you can drop by
one near you and try one on for size

Believe me, they live up to the hype...I used to think that they luxury brands were just
marked up like crazy and not worth their asking price, but then I got my first Breitling and I
understand. This SAS is nice, but believe me, it's no Breitling. Regardless, enjoy it and wear

What happened to the fun and games on here? We know the SAS is not actually a
Breitling killer. The OP is just being passionate about the SAS. My first real new
car, a Plymouth Duster killed any Cadillac out there at that time; at least for me!
Lighten up out there. Stuff like this will preclude Geeks from posting!

I don't get the attack crowd either, OP you did good.

every day in Switzerland.
Great watch to have from Invicta, thanks for sharing.

Enough with the criticism, It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, no one should care about
what the other person has. Every watch company makes nice looking watches and they
make not so nice looking watches. The same way you have people on this site that praise
Invicta's style and then go to other sites to bash them... All that matters is that you're
happy with your watch... Yesterday, 06:59 PM

I dont understand why people get so offended and feel the need to attack with their
comments. This hobby is about having fun share views and learn about watches.
I understand your excitement I own 3 SAS & just ordered my 4th over the weekend with the
8040N. SAS are great looking pieces. I can't wait to get my new addition.
Is the SAS a B killer, who cares. It is to you and that is all that matters. Having this SAS
Fullfill your desire, so you don't need to get a Breitling
Enjoy that beauty, give it plenty of wrist time.

The SAS is one of the most complex case designs that Invicta
has developed....If any of the Haute Horologie watch
companies were to manufacture a timepiece with this type of
architecture and level of detail it would priced in the
stratosphere..Granted the OP was using a bit of whit and
sarcasm in comparing the the 'B' and the SAS...I don't believe
he meant that the SAS was in fact a better timepiece than
whatever Breitling can dish out....Breitling and Invicta are two
entirely different companies with different goals, products,
movements and marketing strategies..I don't believe the Op's
comparison was meant to be conveyed from a literal sense...
Congrats on your SAS
Jon

OP is exactly correct. The SAS is inded a Breitling killer. Hold that sucker up about 2 feet in
the air and drop it on the Breitling and it will absolutely kill it.
Of course thats the only way it will ever be a Breitling killer, but still.

It would be interesting to see if anyone knows of a Breitling class manufacturer (read all
multi thousand dollar pieces) That also makes a (one or two) sub five hunny offering.

That is an awesome SAS. I have the Diver SAS in S/S with the black face. They
really are head turners. I too have some higher end watches and each watch,
Invicta or not that I chose to purchase is worn proudly. One isn't any better than
the other, its just different. That is why I purchase each one!
Great pics!

I own several SAS models including an original 7750. I also own several Breitling automatics.
I understand this thread! My Breitlings are awesome and were worth every penny. But they
did cost a lot of pennies!. My SAS's are sooo much bang for the buck and compared to my
1998 Chronomat, at about 40 mm, they get more wrist time and more compliments. I'm not
saying Invictas stack up to Breitlings, but I understand the thought behind this thread.

Someday I'd like to get a Breitling Super Avenger, but for now I have to pay for my twins to
get through pre-school and well you know I've got bills . . . maybe someday.
