Future employment areas
• Heathrow. Broad skills requirements - logistics, construction, transport and aviation functions as well as softer skills relating to customer service and hospitality.
• New Development. Crossrail and major sites at Wembley, Uxbridge, Brent Cross, Southall and later White City and Earls Court, will need construction skills.
• New Industries? Carbon management, resource efficiency, land management and Green IT, as well as risk management, sustainable procurement, environmental management, design and waste handling.
