CFWI Innovation Centre Mandate:Support the revitalization of the local economy and beyond by providing SMEs with the opportunity to
leverage Niagara College’s resources and capabilities in food and beverage innovation.
Current Funding:• Canadian Food & Wine Institute ($2.3 million, 5-year grant) NSERC CCI• Culinary & Food Science Labs ($1.7 million in infrastructure) CFI & ORF• Industry contributions toward projects
We serve:• SMEs in food and beverage industries (e.g., hops growers, craft brewers, etc.)• Focus on local and regional businesses, with a national scope
