ALL SOURCES are either primary or secondary.

A PRIMARY source contains FIRST-HAND information.
For example, if you are researching World War 2, a primary source would be an interview with an armyveteran.
A SECONDARY source contains SECOND-HAND information
For example, with World War 2 research, a secondary source would be a book about army veterans.

Fact: Hardly anyone makes it to the 3rd page of search results.
Fact: The top search results are NOT necessarily the best.
Companies PAY search engines to “optimize” their results – in other words, they pay to be moved closer to the top.
