Guerrilla tactics

• Ho Chi Minh had learnt from Mao. • Basic principles: 1. Retreat when the enemy

attacks. 2. Raid when the enemy camps. 3. Attach when the enemy tires. 4. Persue when the enemy retreats.

• No uniforms. Soldiers could mingle with ordinary peasants.

• No camps or identifiable base. • Great knowledge of the place.
