People that want to become vets need at least 2 years in college work, and 4 years of study in a college of veterinary medicine. In school, as a student you would study subjects like physiology, anatomy, microbiology, surgery and pathology. You would need a D.M.V. Or V.M.D. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree or and equivalent degree.
