BASIC USEPark Plus, Inc., manufactures parkingsystems to meet high-density parkingrequirements. Park Plus systems provideefficient space utilization in multipleapplications and offer a variety of vehiclestorage and retrieval options, fromattended systems (valet) to fully automaticsystems that require no humanintervention. These systems arefreestanding and can be installed indoorsor outdoors, retrofitted into existingbuildings, or designed specifically fornew building projects and enclosed toclient specifications.

PARKING SYSTEMS

Valet Parking SystemsThis system is designed for attendedparking applications and consists ofsimple devices that stack 2, 3 or 4vehicles atop a single parking space. Atrained operator raises a vehicle on aplatform from a control device, whichcreates an additional space for anothervehicle to be stored below. This processis repeated until the system reachescapacity. To retrieve a vehicle, theoperator removes the vehicle below (atgrade position) in order to lower theplatform and return the stacked vehiclerequested.

Double Parking System - Designed todouble parking capacities, this system isavailable as a hydraulic or electric 2-postcantilevered unit that requires nofoundation anchorage. It is also offered ina suspended electric postless design. Lowprofile equipment is available for minimalheight clearances.

Triple Parking System - This system isdesigned to vertically stack vehicles up to3 high. It is available as a 4-posthydraulic or electric machine or a 2-postelectric machine. Both types require areinforced concrete base.

Quadruple Parking System - This systemis designed to vertically stack vehicles upto 4 high. It is available as a 4-postelectric machine and requires areinforced concrete base.

Self-Parking SystemsThe Lift Sliding Parking System maneuversstacked vehicles on platforms inhorizontal and vertical motions in order tolower vehicles to grade position througha Programmable Logic Control (PLC)system. This process allows efficient directaccess to vehicles.

The system can be designed with a pitdepth for up to 3 vehicles below gradeand up to 5 vehicles above grade, givinga total vertical stacking capacity of 8vehicles in the space usually occupied bya single vehicle. There are no horizontallimitations to the system. This system canbe customized for indoor and outdoorapplications, complete with externalcladding/siding, garage doors and roof,per client specifications.

The Auto Park System is designed formaximum efficiency and space utilizationfor high density parking. It features anunlimited stacking capability and a fully

integrated storage and retrievalfunctionality.

Vehicles are placed in a Park and Drive(P & D) station. Once secure of allpersons, the Mole transfers the vehicleonto the VTC (Vehicle Transfer Carrier),which moves the vehicle to a designatedparking stall. The Mole then stores thevehicle and awaits the next instruction.

The system may also include a turntablefor entry and exit purposes, and a vehiclelifting device may be necessary for multi-level applications.Note - See Tables 1 and 2 for moreinformation.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

Valet Parking SystemsHydraulic-operated systems requireroutine maintenance and serviceinspections to prevent leaking ofhydraulic fluid to immediate environment.Biodegradable hydraulic fluid is alsoavailable.Electric-operated systems have the benefitof being environmentally sustainable,using standard brake motors instead ofhydraulic cylinders for operation.

Self-Parking SystemsAutomated and semi-automated parkingsystems are environmentally sustainable.These systems are electrically operated,require considerably less constructionmaterials than conventional parkinggarages, require significantly less useablespace and have little or no need foradditional lighting, heating, ventilationand cooling.

Installation

PREPARATORY WORKHandle and store product according tomanufacturer’s recommendations.

Verify that site conditions areacceptable for installation. Do notproceed with installation untilunacceptable conditions are corrected.

All components are prefabricatedoffsite and assembled onsite to minimizeinstallation time. Surface conditions forthe installation of the mechanical parkingsystems must be of suitable structuralquality and finished in either blacktop orreinforced concrete slabs, depending onthe weight of system.

Double Parking Systems can beerected on unprepared surfaces with agrade of up to 5%, whereas all othersystems must be on grade of no morethan 2%.

Surface conditions for the installation ofthe Automated Parking Systems and Semi-Automatic Parking Systems must be ofsuitable structural quality, finished in eitherblacktop or reinforced concrete slabs anddesigned specifically for the weight ofsystem. These systems require evengrades.

Installation instructions and guidelinesare available. Park Plus, Inc., mustprovide experienced and qualifiedtechnicians to carry out all necessaryinstallation work. Uninterrupted access tothe work area is necessary at all times forequipment, labor, transport and servicesas required. Installation periods varyaccording to project specific conditionsand will be determined accordingly.

Availability & Cost

AVAILABILITYPark Plus, Inc., provides detailedcustomized quotations, complete withlayout drawings to maximize the numberof parking/storage spaces and efficientseparation. Standard stock items areavailable as new or refurbishedequipment, and deliveries on customizedsystems can be expected within 8 – 24weeks depending on the size andsophistication of the system.

COSTCost per space is calculated accordingto the number of stalls required, speed ofoperation and design functionality.

WarrantyEquipment is warranted for a specifiedperiod following date of delivery toOwner, according to individual contracts.Warranties cover all equipment andcomponents, including labor. Thewarranty is invalidated by any defectsresulting from faulty or negligentoperation, lack of maintenance,overloading, abuse or force majeure (actsof God).

MaintenancePark Plus, Inc., equipment is certified, andthe Service and Maintenance Departmentoperates on a 24/7 basis. All serviceand repair work must be carried out byauthorized Park Plus, Inc., technicians.Work performed by unauthorizedtechnicians may invalidate the warranty.Park Plus, Inc., will provide a technicianto visit installation sites to fully inspect andservice each unit under the serviceagreement at regular intervals. At the endof the warranty period, a service andmaintenance contract is available uponrequest. Contracts can include laborand/or parts.

Technical ServicesPark Plus, Inc., provides design,manufacturing, installation and supportservices for all their products. Otherservices include in-house engineering andarchitectural support, as well as financialservices and lease options on allproducts.
