This course will review the 2011 National Electrical Code

requirements for utility-interactive PV systems including wiringmethods, disconnecting means, grounding, and marking andlabeling.

After successfully completing this class the participant will beable to:

• Understand how a utility-interactive PV system works.

• Compare different methods for grounding a utility-interactivePV systems.

• Integrate the different code sections as they relate to PVsystems.

• Explain how to properly wire a utility-interactive PV system.

NFPA 70 National Electrical Code; 2011 Edition

This course presents each code section with commentary, agraphic illustration or photograph, and requires the participant toanswer multiple choice questions after reviewing the content. Apassing score of 75% is required on the multiple choice questions.After all the questions have been answered, the user must affirmthey are the one who completed the course and verify that theirregistration information is correct. A user will not be able tocomplete the course until the test questions have been passed.

The course participant must complete all multiple choicequestions with a score of at least 75% in order to receive credit forthe course. Credit will not be awarded unless the participant hascompletely answered all questions and met or exceeded the 75%
