Boosted Dark Matter• Cold dark matter captured by dark matter
concentrated region, such as the Sun or Galaxy Center
• Produce lighter, boosted dark matter via annihilation or decay
• Boosted dark matter interact with electrons or nucleons in detectors
• Look for scattered electrons or recoil protons

DAQ/Trigger Specification• Current DUNE DAQ/Trigger design
• Triggered events: non-zero suppressed data saved for a reasonably large band of time and a large part of detector
• Very low (visible) energy events: zero suppressed data in only the collection plane saved
• Trigger thresholds determined by detector noise and background events
• Current estimation on triggering events with visible energy > 20 MeV
• May be able to analyze data with only very low (visible) energy events

Plan for TDR Draft• By October 20th, we aim to
• Smear the particle energy by the detector resolution
• Scan over the 2-dimensional parameter space with different dark matter mass and boosted (γ) factors
• Scaled by the dark matter-mediator coupling g
• Evaluate the sensitivity based on the excess aligned with the Sun direction with background (neutral-current atmospheric neutrinos)
• Submit the tech note for DUNE TDR to the BSM group

particles can be reconstructed by the direction of the final state particles
• Demonstrated the efficiency
• Evaluated the event rate with one point in the parameter space
• Preparing the tech note for DUNE TDR and publication draft
