My dealings with Mr Foster commenced in 2004 and continue today through our mutual involvement with the IIA Toronto Chapter Mr Foster has shown and continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the profession and the ethical values required by the profession He has made a significant contribution to the internal audit profession and to the public sector in particular He has served as the Chair of the Government Relations Committee of the Toronto Chapter since 2007- serving a sector of the profession that is often underserved as the needs are not we ll understood by those outside of the sector He is well known and respected within the internal audit community of which I have been a part of for over 15 years
