The Louvre is a French palace and the national art museum of France. Its a big tourist spot in Paris. It holds some of the most historic paintings like the Mona Lisa!

The Mona Lisa originated in Italy created by Leonardo da Vinci .It was only It is 30" in high by 20 7/8" wide!

The Louvre is the largest museum in the world! Its SO big that even if you walk around it all day you will never see all of the magnificent things the museum has to hold! It also holds "Venus de Milo".
