This horrid “storage” system results in broken wings and
legs.
When they finally get to the slaughterhouses, they are kept for 2 months.
In this short time, they are pumped with
steroids, hormones and fed leftover chicken
parts.
They get too top-heavy and they can’t move.
When they are up to age, they suffer a fate
that’s horrible for every one.
With their throats slit and the chickens still conscious, they are dipped in scalding tanks, able to feel all pain.
