SPREAD OF ADVENT WREATH
By the 16th century, advent wreaths were widely used by Catholics and Protestants in Germany.
Used to represent the coming of Christ.
It gradually spread across the world.
PARTS OF ADVENT WREATH
Four Candles: three purple candles and a pink candle.
There is also a middle candle (usually white) that is sometimes lit on Christmas day.
Each candle represents a week closer to the coming of Christ.
Pink candle represents joy.
