Ingrid Kreissig is currently a Professor at Department of Ophthalmology Univ.
Mannheim-Heidelberg, Mannheim, Germany. She is also serving as Adjunct
Professor at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, New York. Her
specialization includes, Posterior Segment of the Eye: St. Gall/Switzerland,
Bonn/Germany, and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center/USA. During
1979-2000, she has been the Chairman of Univ. Tuebingen/Germany. She has
published more than 404 papers, those are been published in national and
international journals of ophthalmology, basically on topics such as surgery of
retinal detachment with long-term follow-up of anatomic and functional results,
cryopexy histology, tumors, AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and intravitreal
pharmacotherapy. She has also published many books.
David Berkow is an optometrist who has been in private practice since 1978. His
main passion is fitting contact lenses both for cosmetic reasons but especially when
required for medical reasons as in cases of keratoconus, dry eye syndrome, extreme
prescriptions and is very interested in myopia control via the use of contact lenses.
David is invited to lecture extensively both nationally and also internationally. David
qualified as an optometrist in 1978 and has since completed his Masters degree in
Optometry at Ulster University in Ireland and is now in the process of completing his
Doctorate in Optometry at Aston University.
Richard B. Mangan understands that you may have established your line up of

Kristine Mackare, is an optometrist originally from Latvia, but currently from
Norway. She studied science and clinical optometry and obtained her BD and MD at
University of Latvia. She is doctoral student in E-study technologies and management
at Liepaja University. Her research creates new pathways for improving users vision
comfort and health by digital reading. She is working on methodology and
recommendations for e-material formatting based on Vision Science. Also, there are
new program for e-material formatting is in progress. The research is conducted in
collaboration with Liepaja University, University of Latvia and Riga Technical
University. She has presented papers at several local and international conferences in
different research fields and has several publications of original articles. For a
practical point of view on nowadays problem, she worked as professional optometrist
in OC Vision (Latvia) for 5 years and now from year 2018 she works in Salten
Synssenter (Norway). As optometrist Kristine specialize in refraction correction
including contact lens fitting, and most recent professional interest is ocular health
screening diagnostics in primary health care. Currently, participate in continuously
education at the University of South-Eastern Norway
Milan Rai is an Intern Optometrist at Om Prakash Eye Institute, India
Evelyn Chou is a foundation year trainee in cardiology in London, and graduated
from King’s College London in 2017. She also completed an intercalated BSc in
Antaomy and Human Sciences in 2014. She is passionate about ophthalmology and
has previously presented a case report on Grave’s ophthalmopathy in the Annual
student and trainee ophthalmology conference. She has also published 2 papers in
Clinical Medicine and the Royal Society of Medicine.

Junaid Faisal Wazir, a 35years old Community Ophthalmologist is a Phd Scholar at
University of Lahore, Pakistan. He is consultant at Pakistan Institute of Community
Ophthalmology, Pakistan. He has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals
national and international levels. He is keen to improve the eye care in general
population as he has expertise in community ophthalmology in evaluation and
passion in improving the eye health and wellbeing.
Sarbojeet Goswami is interested in Paediatric Optometry and Clinical Optometry
sessions.

Alarape Adekunle is a Clinician Optometrist and a Public health Consultant. He has
worked both in Private and Public hospitals in Nigeria. He has trained many
Optometrists in hospital setting. He is interested in Occupational Visual Eye Health.
He is also involved in avoidable preventable blindness programme in Nigeria.
Daniel Paniagua, is Academic Coordinator in the Course-Workshop Screening for
Diabetic Retinopathy and Diabetic Macular Edema of the Asociacion Mexicana de
Diabetes (AMD); he is a student of Master's Degree in Public Health in the Instituto
Nacional de Salus Pública in México; Degree in Optometry by the Universidad
Nacional Autonoma de México (UNAM); whit Diploma in Pharmacology and
Ocular Therapeutics by UNAM; Advocacy for Eye Healt course WCO 2018 by the
Brien Holden Vision Institute's; Diabetic Retinopathy Grading Course by The
University Melbourne, Australia; he is Diabetes Educator Facilitator for the UNAM,
and he is a National and international speaker on diabetes and optometry topics, as
well as author and co-author of scientific articles.

Aravind Kumar completed his postgraduation (M.S. (Ay)) in Śālākya Tantra
(Ayurvedic Ophthalmology) from Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kerala, India. His
postgraduate dissertation was on analyzing the prevalence of age-related cataract in
different Prakṛti (body constitution) populations. Currently, he works as a Research
Coordinator with Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research and Development Instutue, a
premier Ayurvedic institution in India specializing in Ophthalmology. He is
interested in research on Preventive Ophthalmology and applying Ayurvedic
principles to promote eye health.
