PtII students with projects using EM instrumentation have been pre-allocated trainingand/or staff to support them.
Each major type of instrument has a support scientist who is the first point of contact interms of EM questions, along with your project supervisor.

The facility maintains a suite of EM and related instrumentation at the main Parks Roadlaboratory and also the Begbroke site including TEM, SEM and FIB instruments.

No specialist TEM projects running this year, however the following PtII’s willmost likely have some access to TEM during the project:
Christian Bridge: Start off with SEM training then contact Dr Neil Young whenready to move to TEM
Serena Bochereau: Prof. Grobert’s group will assist with TEM when required.
Michelle Lim: As above.
Camden Ford: Dr Watt will assist with TEM as required.
