Introduction
In these extraordinary times, with the ever increasing pace
of change, demands and challenges, we as individuals and as
teams have the opportunity to profoundly change the world
in which we live and work. How we respond to these
challenges and changes, and how we manage ourselves and
others, is key to our success and growth. In this practical
and experiential workshop, delegates will explore how we
can maximize our individual & team effectiveness.
Organisations are having to rethink the traditional models of
motivation, realizing that the traditional reward &
punishment management approaches are not achieving
motivated, empowered teams. Organisations & individuals
are realizing they need to set up conditions within which they
can thrive can thrive - this is the subject of this workshop.
Programme Objectives
Delegates will leave the programme with:
Greater insight into the concepts of teamwork, motivation, success, relationships,
change, stress and personal leadership.
Improved team morale, team dynamics and team relationships
Duration
The programme can be run over one to three days, depending on client needs, objectives
and time constraints. The modules listed on the next page are optional and will be included
as per the clients needs. The team building sessions are highly customized, experiential and
practical. Other topics are available and can be added – these are only suggested topics.
Target audience
The course is suitable for all levels of staff, teams and departments.

in the world, staff will gain insight into their personality / behaviour styles and
those of their team mates, and how these impact their relationships and
interactions

The Facilitator – Clyde van Zyl
Clyde has been a Human Resources Training Specialist and Consultant for the past eighteen
years, training a wide spectrum of industries and organisations’ throughout the financial,
government, mining and business sectors. He has facilitated and designed the full spectrum
of Human Resources Programs ranging from Life Skills to Leadership and Management
development, working with clients throughout Africa, including some international work.
Clyde has held various HR and Training Manager positions and has had his own consultancy
for the past seven years.
Clyde has undergone training both locally & internationally in the areas of Leadership,
Organisation and People Assessment, Coaching & Personal Development as his passion is
inspiring & enabling organisations’ & people to create a better life for themselves & others.
Outside of his professional life, Clyde is a qualified Childline Counsellor, Ex Provincial Squash
Player and Squash Coach and a Scuba Dive Master. His love for, but inability to play great
golf provides him with extensive stress management experience!
