Dissemination Report
The aim of this report is to describe the dissemination media used throughout the
project and highlight those activities with a highest impact on the European
plastics industry.
Web site:
The project web site is available since the beginning of Sono”r”us project. It is
accessible at: http://www.sonorusproject.eu
Moreover partners have implemented within their own website a link to Sono”r”us
website to increase the visibility of Sono”r”us project.

Poster and leaflet:
A poster and leaflets describing de Sono”r”us project have been elaborate. Both
documents contain an introduction to the project, objectives, partner’s
description, work packages interaction and so on.
There are different ways to promote a product in different areas of media. Posters
and leaflets are visual aids that include industry data, market research survey
results and product information brochures. These promotional materials enhance
the image of the project and the selling process.
Posters and leaflets have been displayed in trade fairs and exhibitions, and in
partner’s facilities to catch clients’ eye.

Newsletters and publications:
This sort of dissemination media is genuinely useful for technology centres and it is a
way of making public R&D results, new technologies and improvements for a
particular industry. Alternatively, companies utilises these sources of information to
draw potential clients’ attention by highlighting the advantages and benefits of
Sonorus machine for the plastics industry.
Several publications have been done by all the Sono”r”us partners. For instance,
two of the most relevant articles have been published in two important Spanish
newspapers:
On September 22nd 2011, La Vanguardia, the most important Catalonian
newspaper, published an article about Ultrasion and its innovative lines of research
where it was mentioned Sono”r”us project.
On January 28th 2012, El País, the largest Spanish newspaper, pointed out that
Ultrasion was a successful company which based its growth in its R&D projects.

Trade fairs and exhibitions:
Since the very beginning, partners knew that to ensure the Beta Tester program it
was necessary find them in trade fairs and exhibitions as potential participants
could see and touch the machine. Besides it is a simple way of making massive
demos in order to attract curious visitors.
In this regard Ultrasion has been very active attending three events in which the
company has obtained great results.
Equiplast 2011, the most important Spanish trade exhibition for the plastics and
rubber sector and held on November 14-18th.
More than 90 organisations showed real interest for Sonorus machine which we
deem that 12 were excellent business contacts. Ultrasion recorded 8 applications
to enter in the Beta Tester Programme.
Some of the organisations that visited Ultrasion/MyS at Equiplast were previously
invited to attend the exhibition where they could have a demo of the machine.
ULTRASION/MyS used promotional material such as posters and leaflets and
announced its participation on the website.

Swiss Plastics, one of the premier events in Lucerne (Switzerland) for the plastics
industry which brings together national and international companies that present
their novelties such as new products and processes for a diverse range of industries
like medicine, micro-systems or automation.
ULTRASION used promotional material such as posters and leaflets and announced
its participation on the website.
More than 49 organisations showed real interest for Sonorus machine which we
deem that 6 were excellent business contacts. Ultrasion recorded 7 applications to
enter in the Beta Tester Programme.

NPE 2012 is the most important International Plastics Exhibition in the USA in which
1,830 companies offer their latest products and technologies for a wide range of
sectors. More than 60,000 visitors are expected to come and attend this world
event.
More than 160 organisations showed real interest for Sonorus machine which most
of them (80% of total) came from the medical sector.
On the whole Sonorus machine was well received by visitors because of its
innovative solution based on ultrasounds. In fact, some attendees came in
because they had heard of us in the Exhibition.

Moreover, Ultrasion was so attractive that the NPE official magazine, Plastics News,
published an article about Ultrasion and it revolutionary ultrasound-based machine
for the production of micro and mini plastic parts.
This article was considered as a
reward for all the work done and
encouraged Ultrasion to keep working
hard.
