• Acute– Redness with an ill-defined border. Papules
large blister, vesicles and scaling.
• Sub acute– Redness and crusting are present
without the extreme swelling.
• Chronic– Less vesicular more scaly, skin pigmented and
thickened and with fissures.
• According to Ayurveda, eczema is a minor form of leprosy and is caused by the aggravation of kapha in addition to vata and pitta.

Dandruff • Dandruff - Seborrhoeic dermatitis.• Caused by the excess formation of sebum.• The irritation due to this causes dandruff, producing
dry or greasy scales. • Produce red patches of the scalp with large scales
and sometimes a thick crest.• Worse by sweating. • Sebum does contain compounds that are powerful
hair removers.• Darunaka - due to increase of Kapha and Vata.

Candidiasis • Candidiasis (yeast infection) is infection by the
yeast Candida. • Tends to occur in moist areas of the skin.• Cause rashes, scaling, itching, swelling.• Candida is a normal resident of the mouth,
digestive tract, and vagina that usually causes no harm.
