25/6/11 To whom it may concern,
When I left my position as President for the Bathurst Arts and
Theatrical Society at the beginning of 2011 I knew I was leaving the society in good hands.
In the three years I have known Shane his dedication to the arts
has not wavered, and his involvement in the community has only grown. Shane has tirelessly provided assistance for our ongoing
projects, proving to be more than competent in the areas of lighting and sound, production management and workshop facilitation.
He has shown himself to be reliable both in the handling of
finance and scheduling of productions, displaying an ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Along with this Shane has actively made himself available as a mentor for our younger members, happily sharing his knowledge
and skills across all areas and promoting the creation of independent work with our new generation of practitioners.
His participation in previous projects has been a huge benefit to
the society and greatly contributed to the recent successes of this community endeavor. Reliable, driven and ambitious, Shane
should strongly be considered in this application, as he is more than deserving of this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Alexander Hayden BATS President 2010- 2011

To whom it may concern, In my previous experience with Shane I have experienced nothing short of the upmost professionalism. During the three months he spent working as my assistant, Shane went above and beyond the expectations of his position. He was diligent, tenacious and incredibly trustworthy and was a huge benefit to the production. Exhibiting impeccable communication and organisational skills, Shane went out of his way to assist all the departments of our production and managed multiple tasks with relative ease. His commitment to his work is to be applauded, as is his desire to learn and be mentored. If considering Shane for a grant or position of employment I would highly recommend him. He was an asset to our production and I am sure he will continue to produce quality work. If there are any queries regarding my recommendation feel free to contact me via email or my mobile. Regards, Sarah O’Brien
