Most plants grow from a seeds or bulbs.
All living things reproduce. Flying insects pollinate flowering plants which enable plants to create seeds.
The life cycle of a simple flowering plant is germination, growth, flowering and seed production
Flowers attract pollinators and are where the seeds are produced
Plants need water, light to grow healthily.

Carl Linnaeus (1707) famous for his work in Taxonomy, the science of
identifying, naming and classifying organisms (plants, animals,
bacteria, fungi, etc.).
Agnes Robertson Arber (1879 – 1960) a British plant anatomist.
Because of her contributions to botanical science, Agnes Arber
received the Gold Medal of the Linnean Society of London at the age
of 69 – the first woman to receive such accolade.
Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) loved painting landscape, flora, and fauna
and fungi and became widely respected in mycology.
Potter’s study and watercolours of fungi led to her being widely
respected in the field of mycology.
