Here at PSECU, we’re already moving forward with exciting projects, spurred by a new strategic plan – a list of resolutions, if you will – for the next few years. Approved by our Board of Directors, the plan outlines four areas we’ll focus on to further strengthen the credit union and continue providing you with the highest quality products and services.
First, we’ll look to more aggressively grow our membership. By growing membership, we’ll increase revenue, and at the same time spread our fixed costs over a larger base. This results in greater profitability, which ultimately enables us to return more value – through enhanced services and more competitive rates – to you, our member-owners! We’ll also work to expand our reach and encourage our current members to become more engaged with us. You can help PSECU grow by referring your friends and family to us for their banking needs. The second area we’ll focus on is developing new lending products and services. By offering a wider array of ways to finance life, we hope to do an even better job of helping current and potential members reach their goals while reaffirming our place as a trusted financial partner. Keep an eye out for new lending options on the horizon, as well as great rates that will keep your money where it belongs – with you!
Business efficiency and scalability is another area of strategic focus. We’ll be developing a more disciplined approach to guide our use of human and financial capital. We’ll also invest in modernizing many of our internal back-office
processes and systems so that we not only serve you more effectively, but also do so in a way that minimizes the number of manual interventions needed to complete critical tasks. This is a smart investment and just a good way of running the business!
Our fourth strategic goal relates to talent optimization. I’m incredibly proud of our more than 900 employees and the work that they do each day to ensure PSECU consistently provides you with safe, efficient, advanced, value-add financial solutions. To keep that
momentum going, I want to make sure that we continue to invest in the people who serve you. Going forward, we will look at ways to create a workplace culture that thrives by
encouraging engagement, leadership, career development, and proactive succession planning. Positioning our employees for ongoing success will also position them to effectively serve you.
Continuing the strong tradition of providing you, our member-owners, with great service and superior financial value is at the center of this planning. As we start to plan and roll out these changes in the months and years to come, we do so with serving you in mind.

“SPOOFED” CALLS, TEXTS, AND/OR EMAILS Criminals can manipulate caller IDs to display a company’s phone number or use an almost identical email address to make it appear that the communication you received is legitimate. When in doubt, always reach out to the company using the phone number and/or email found on their website.
PHISHING Before clicking on links in an email, hover over the hyperlink to make sure it’s directing you to the expected site. Or call the company to ensure it is valid.
REMOTE ACCESS Never allow someone to “remotely access” your computer or other device.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT ACCOUNT Don’t lose your savings to monthly fees. Choose one of our savings shares with no monthly fees and low minimum balance requirements to get started. If you have a nest egg already, or once you reach $500, switch to a Money Market share to receive higher dividends.
AUTOMATE YOUR SAVINGS Have a portion of your paycheck automatically deposited into the savings share you choose. This takes the work out of saving and removes the temptation to spend funds, since you’ll never see the money in your checking.

Rates reflect a .25% APR reduction for Automatic Payment Service and loan amounts up to 100% of the retail value of the vehicle. Your rate will increase if you discontinue Automatic Payment Service.
