Lithosphere Layer of the earth on which we live. We live on the top layer of the

lithosphere, the crust. The lithosphere is made up of the crust

and the thin upper layer of the mantle which is solid.

Since most of the mantle is hot liquid which flows, the lithosphere is able to slide along top.

Layers of the AtmosphereTroposphere: Layer in which we live, gases are denser and temp is higher closer to EarthStratosphere: Holds 19% of Earth’s gases, ozone is formed here, planes can be found in this area.Mesosphere: Gases become thinner, meteors burn up hereThermosphere: Known as the upper atmosphere, gases are very thin, UV radiation and x-rays are absorbed, satellites
