Master Program in Agribusiness was established in 1996 with the vision "to become a

master of science program that excels in mastering, developing, and disseminating

agribusiness science based on resources, local wisdom, and technology". This program

is accredited A (Excellent) with the aim of increasing the quantity, quality and

competitiveness of graduates in careers and employment supported by effective

teaching, research and publication processes.

Master Program in Agribusiness Sriwijaya University

Students can choose one of 5 fields of expertise according to their interests and

professions to be pursued, namely Agribusiness Management of Food Crop and

Horticulture, Agribusiness Management of Fishery and Animal Husbandry,

Agribusiness Management of Estate and Forestry, Agrotourism Management, and

Agribusiness System.

Masters Program in Agribusiness applies curriculum in accordance with National

Higher Education Standards which equip students with various skills needed to enter

the workforce professionally as government officials, consultants, entrepreneurs,

managers, researchers and educators. Students will be equipped with science and

technology in the field of agribusiness and guided by professional lecturers. The Study

Program has 11 professors and more than 20 Doctorate graduates who have domestic

and foreign experience in research who are ready to guide students according to their

interests. If desired, students can take part of the research conducted by the lecturer

for his/her theses.

Curricular activities are carried out at the

Postgraduate Campus, Padang Selasa, Bukit

Besar, Palembang which is easily accessible.

Lecture rooms are equipped with multimedia

devices and air conditioning. The campus

environment has been equipped with a library,

research lab, language lab, cafe, consultation

room, student discussion room, and wifi-based

information technology facilities.

Why choose Master Program in of Agribusiness at Sriwijaya University?

Single tuition for regular lectures is IDR 6,500,000 /semester, for special

lectures is IDR 8,000,000/semester. Students who stop out are not required to

pay tuition fee. Graduates with honors (cum laude) are exempted from

registration fees and entrance exams.

Students can start their education in odd or even

semester. Students can choose lectures on regular or

special schedules (Friday, Saturday).
