Spring 2017
RBI Mentoring hosted its first girls mentor-‐mentee Bible study last month. Mentors invited their mentees – who brought along sisters and friends – to the Bible study on a Sunday afternoon in East Austin.
The group provides a place for our girl mentees to build healthy friendships with other girls and women as they read Bible stories together and discover more about who God is and what He has done for the world.
“I hope to see my mentee Ana grow closer to Christ through this study and lean on Him during hard times,” said RBI mentor Dena. “I also hope she shares what she learns with others, and through this, more people will know the hope found in Jesus.”
We’re so excited for these RBI girls to discover how much God loves them and how He has given each of them unique gifts and abilities. We pray that the girls will grow into a supportive community and be leaders in their schools and neighborhoods.
