Two ways to do good to other….Altruism• Behavior that benefits

another person – sometimes at some costs.

• it is non-beneficial or disadvantageous to the individual who performs such a behavior for the benefit of others

Prosocial behavior• Behavior that benefits

others or has positive social consequences.

• To build positive relationships in society.

• The opposites are aggressive or “anti-social” behavior.
