Principal’s Report
Wow we all made it to the end of Term 2! It seems to have been a long
term and many ongoing changes but in true BBPS style we have worked in
partnership through it all, ”we’re all in this together” for our students and
community.
Term 3 will begin with a Staff Development Day on Monday 20th July with
students returning on Tuesday 21st July. At this stage we will be continuing
with the non essential adults off site and parents dropping
students at entrance and picking up outside boundaries until
further notice. Hopefully small changes will begin over Term 3
with the returning of interschool sport PSSA on a friendly basis.
All health regulations will be ongoing and will continue to be
followed by staff and students. We look forward in sharing
with you our great achievements during the year in a Virtual
Education Week.
Reports - Tomorrow you will be receiving your child’s end of Semester 1
report. The reports have been adjusted in line with advice from the NSW
Department of Education due to the COVID 19 home learning period. Our
staff have worked hard through these unprecedented times to give
authentic feedback on your child’s progress and set future learning goals
for you to be aware in supporting your child. Please take the time to
congratulate them on their efforts and yours for your amazing support of
their learning during this semester. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if
there are concerns you would like to discuss.
Crazy Sock & Hair - Today BBPS looked a little different with some
amazing innovative hairstyles and crazy socks. What a great way to end a
crazy term. Thank you for supporting this day with donations going towards
purchasing further outdoor equipment for our students to engage in!
We thank you all again for your dedication and support of your child’s
learning, our school and community over the past semester and wish you
a relaxing, rejuvenating break ready for a near normal term in Term 3 .

SRC Report
This week was the last week of Term 2. The SRC
representatives have been getting lots of
wonderful ideas in our suggestion boxes for
fundraisers but remember you can put in other
ideas too. Perhaps you’d like more equipment
to make your playtime more enjoyable or
perhaps you can think of a different way we
could improve our school. Please keep up your
fantastic suggestions - we read them all!
Today we had ‘Crazy hair and sock day’! Thank
you for bringing in a gold coin donation. We
loved seeing you all in your mufti clothes with
crazy hair and crazy socks.
Next term we'll be having more fundraisers so
keep on suggesting examples of what they
could be! Have an amazing holiday, keep your
distance and stay safe.

Canteen News
The BBPS canteen is closed until further notice.
Uniform Shop / Orders
The uniform shop remains closed at this stage.
Orders can be completed (with payment into
the P&C Uniform account) and left at the
office. We will let you know when your order is
ready for collection.
If you require an exchange or wish to purchase
second hand items, appointments are
necessary and need to be made with the
uniform shop. Any parents must present at the
office before heading to your appointment.
BASC News This week the children had fun painting
landscapes, sunsets and flowers using water
colours and acrylic paints. The children used a
wide variety of colours experimenting and
openly expressing their ideas with others. Also
our children were very fortunate to have one of
our family members to come into our centre
and share his experience of setting up a fresh
herb garden.
Reminder to Visitors We ask that all visitors entering our school
premises to report to the office first. We ask you
to provide personal contact information to be
used in an emergency or when performing
contact tracing if required. We thank you for
you understanding.
