The 125th Street BID is hosting it’s 2018 Street Exhibition BannerCompetition – an exhibition that showcases Harlem’s unique arts and
culture. This year’s theme is Art Joins Business.
The 125th Street BID is inviting businesses to sponsorthe banner competition. As a sponsor, your logo will be placedon city street light poles on 125th Street between Morningside
and Fifth Avenue for all to see.

Street Exhibition Designs are obtain through a Request for Design (RFD) process that is marketed to artists & art organizations.
(local artists in Harlem will gain extra points)
Artist submission to the competition will be subject to review by judges comprised of renowned artists, art organizations, curators, sponsoring
companies and BID representatives.
10 winning submissions will be selected based on their artistic merit and quality of the design; the appropriateness of the design for public
display; and the degree to which the design addressed the described theme.

About UsThe 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID)
is a tax assessment district with defined boundaries, and is
managed by the 125th Street District Management
Association, Inc. (DMA). The not- for-profit organization has
become a leader in sustaining business growth for the 125th
Street. The DMA is funded primarily from an additional tax
assessment collected by the property owners from
Morningside to Fifth Avenue on 125th Street.
Mission: Expand sustainable economic activity including support for
the creation and expansion of businesses that create jobs and other
benefits for the community.
Goal: Maximize the ability of all stakeholders to benefit from
opportunities created by commercial revitalization efforts and improve
the overall quality of life in the community.
