Getting Started
Piktochart
Introduction
Piktochart is an online infographic, poster and presentation creation website. It has many free templates available that you can use to create and download infographics.
This document will walk you through the process of creating your own infographic with Piktochart.
1. Go to https://piktochart.com. 2. Click Log In (Fig 1,1). 3. Click Sign up with Google (Fig 2,1). 4. Type in your HCC email (Fig 3,1). 5. Type in your HCC username and password (Fig 4,1). 6. Click OK (Fig 4,2).

Create an Infographic
1. Click Create New (Fig 5,1). 2. Select Infographic (Fig 6,1). 3. Select the template you want to use by clicking
Use Template. (Fig 7,1).
Note that some of the templates on this website require you to sign up for a paid subscription. Be sure that the template you want to use says Use Template and not Level Up.
4. Type in a title for your Infographic (Fig 8,1). 5. Click on the Shapes & Icons menu to add shapes and icons to your infographic (Fig 8,2). 6. Click Background to change the background of your
infographic (Fig 8,3). 7. Click Text to add text to your infographic (Fig 8,4).

1. Click Uploads (Fig 8,1). 2. Click Browse Images (Fig 8,2) and locate an image on your computer
and double click the image to add it to your infographic.
1. Click Save to save your infographic (Fig
9,1). 2. Click Download (Fig 9,2). 3. Select PNG as the File Format
(Fig 10,1). 4. Select Medium Quality (Fig 10,2). 5. Click Download as PNG (Fig 10,3). 6. To Share this Infographic, click Share (Fig 9,3). This will generate
a link that you can send via email or post on Canvas to share your infographic.
7. Click OK (Fig 11,1) to close the dialogue box.
