“Got to Get You Into My Life,” “Back in the USSR,” “Band On the Run,” “Live and Let Die” and “Flaming Pie” – this notable performance was unanimously hailed by audiences and critics alike as the concert experience of a lifetime.

Painting The Wyland Way: Live In Studio In his first public television special, the host of Wyland’s Art Studio demonstrates his painting technique while sharing a message about ocean creatures and the fragile ecosystems that support life under the sea. Painting The
Wyland Way: Live In Studio follows the artist as he creates a work he will eventually title, “Deep Blue Dolphin Sea”. The classroom setting helps Wyland take his live audience and viewers on a creative and philosophical journey into the world of the dolphin as seen through the eyes of a diver.

The Bronx Boys
Friendships come and go. Imagine, however, a friendship that has lasted 75 years. Now imagine 15 of them. Remarkably, these friends met in kindergarten at Public School 80 in the Bronx, New York in 1936.
In 2001, the award-winning short film The Bronx Boys captured their 70th birthday reunion. The
men gained many new friends because of the film, after it was broadcast on PBS and Cinemax, and subsequently from being the subjects of a story in TIME Magazine. This new film, The Bronx Boys Still Playing At 80, catches-up with The Bronx Boys ten years later as they gathered together to celebrate their 80th birthdays and a lifetime of friendship.
At this reunion a few things had changed. They’d lost a step or two, and some of the boys were gone (though are honored in this film). Even so, The Bronx Boys were no less energetic revisiting their youth for an afternoon of carnival games and wild rides at an amusement park. And they were no less candid, funny and insightful when talking about the past, the present, and the future.
➜ THE BRONX BOYS airs Tuesday, June 4th at 8PM➜ THE BRONX BOYS STILL PLAYING AT 80 airs Tuesday, June 4th at 9PM
Tomlinson Hill
In the mid-1800s just outside of Marlin, Texas, a slave plantation named Tomlinson Hill was founded by James K. Tomlinson. The establishment would have long lasting effects on the rural community. Tomlinson Hill documents how the legacy of slavery in east and central Texas has created a region still divided despite the civil rights changes of the last 60 years.
Reporter Chris Tomlinson, a descendant of slave owner James K. Tomlinson, confronts the shame and guilt he feels from his ancestry and digs deeper into the real legacy of the area. He comes across Loreane Tomlinson, a descendant of slaves on Tomlinson Hill, who has returned to her hometown with a vision of civic improvement. Says Tomlinson “After meeting Loreane, I knew I wanted the film to tell the story of my family history as well as her family history. Together, it’s the story of America, as far as I’m concerned/” The documentary is a fascinating look at people trying to move on while others idly resist change. Can Marlin survive and transform not only the racial separation that exists, but the deep-rooted socio-economic divide as well?

Nature: Zebra Exodus
When thunderclouds begin to gather over Botswana’s Kalahari each year, 20,000 zebras begin an ancient journey, as southern Africa’s biggest animal migration gets underway. In a never-ending quest for grass and water, the striped herds make their epic trek across the vast otherworldly landscape of the Kalahari’s Makgadikgadi Pans, through prides of lions, and past families of meerkats, taking on the desert salt pans in their own way. The story of this spectacular annual migration is told through the eyes of zebra stallions, their mares, and their young, revealing the trials and triumphs and the fascinating social bonds that hold zebra families together.
➜ Airs Sunday, June 2nd at 5PM and Thursday, June 6th at 7PM
Nova: Manhunt - Boston Bombers
At 2:50pm on April 15, two bomb blasts turned the Boston Marathon finish line from a scene of triumph to tragedy, leaving three dead, hundreds
injured and a city gripped by heartbreak and terror. Less than five days later, the key suspects were identified and apprehended with one dead, the other in custody. How did investigators transform the chaos of the bombing into a coherent trail of clues, pointing to the accused killers?
Nova: Manhunt - Boston Bombers follows the manhunt step by step, examining the role modern technology—combined with old-fashioned detective work —played in cracking the case. Given hundreds of hours of surveillance and bystander videos, how did agents spot the bad guys in a sea of spectators? Why couldn’t facial recognition software I.D. the criminals? How much could bomb chemistry analysis, cell phone GPS, infrared imagery and crowd sourcing reveal about the secrets behind this horrific crime? With the help of top criminal investigators and anti-terrorism experts, NOVA explores which technological innovations worked—and which didn’t—in the most notorious case of today, and how the world of crime fighting could be transformed tomorrow.
