05th February, 2020 INAUGURAL PROGRAMME
Venue: Seminar Hall, University PG College (PU Campus) The anchors Ms. Shivani and Ms. Chinmoy students of Microbiology II year has given brief
introduction about the EBSB objectives are:
To celebrate the unity in diversity of our nation and to maintain and strengthen the
fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our country
To promote the spirit of national integration through a deep and structured engagement
between all states and union territories through a year long planned engagement
between states.
To showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of either state for
enabling people to understand and appreciate the diversity that is India, thus fostering
a sense of common identity.
To establish long-term engagements and to create an environment this promotes
learning between states by sharing best practices and experiences
Then they called student of MA English to perform welcome dance for the programme.
The Programme started with Haryana dance performance by M.A. English I year student.
Prof. Pindi Pavan Kumar, Registrar, Dr M. Noorjahan, Principal, Dr S. N. Arjun Kumar, Nodal
officer, NSS Programme officers M. Galenna, M. Suresh, N.Venu, Dr. P. Shivakumar Singh,
S. Siddarama Goud and Rani, Faculty Botany were present and around 85 students from all the
three campus colleges were present the club has been formed with them. Later the delegates
were invited on to the dais after bouquet presentation to all the guests lighting of lamp
programme was initiated. The group of EBSB club members welcome song by EBSB club
members of department of botany. Few students have delivered the speech regarding the EBSB
activities. After the Mr. Ramesh, MA English students has sung Telangana folk song. Later
NSS programme officers have addressed the gathering. Guest of Honour Dr M Noorjahan
principal has iterated about the importance of the EBSB programme and activities. Chief Guest
Prof Pindi Pavan Kumar Registrar has stressed the need for unity in diversity and focused on
the exchange programme with paired state Haryana and Our Palamuru University is paired
with Sri Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hissar, Haryana state.
He has appreciated all the students for showing interest in cultural exchange programme and
instructed them to learn Haryanvi language, songs and about culture so that it will be useful in
exchange programmes. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr S N Arjun Kumar
Nodal officers and national anthem.
