Most missing spectrometer scripts are in progress, in part pending due to missing technical information
Many photometer scripts are pending due to missing technical information, situation slowly improving now

Current PCSS Functionalities (I)• Quick-Look Analysis QLA: monitoring of signals in Photometer and
Spectrometer pixels– Offline on stored telemetry or decompressed data
• Preparation of detector selection tables for uplink via GUI Inspect Telemetry and Telecommand Packets:
– Automatically propagated from the MIB definitions– Overview of types, number of packets and parameters in the packet sequence– Selection on type, header fields and any telemetry measure in the packets– Extraction of telemetry measures into Tables for convenient plotting, trend
analysis, operations, save/restore, export
• Decompression of science data – Telemetry Packets to Data Frames
• reduced signals, DMC headers and selected raw data
– Access to signals, samples and DMC headers as Tables and Measures for plotting, visualization, fitting, etc…
• Import of component level CRE/photoconductor data into same structures
– of Tables (automatic labeling, inc. units) and on some primitive arrays – Labels, zooming, hardcopy, plotsymbols, ...
PACS ICC 14
PACS IHDR MPE, 12/13 Nov 2003
Current PCSS Functionalities (II)• Inspection of raw and reduced detector signals
– Statistics on datasets (max, min, mean, median, RMS, sum, ….)– Polynomial fitting on datasets (e.g. integration ramps)– Some functions (FFT, Convolutions)
• Plotting– of Tables (automatic labeling, inc. units) and on some primitive
arrays • Labels, zooming, hardcopy, plotsymbols, ...
• Store the History of your session, edit it and rerun it• Write your own data reduction scripts in jython
– starting from templates and examples
• Define Tables or other data structures to hold intermediate results or CAP results (Calfiles), populate them, save/restore as fits, exchange them
• Export any dataset to FITS
