INTRODUCTION
Much more time spent in the advance payment of cash to the polling parties resulting into late departure to the destination and finally reaching late which translate into less time for preparatory work at the polling station.
While returning of the parties, the actions for clearing their T.A. bill/adjustment of advance payment etc. take place, which were also a tedious job & arises the possibilities of less payment or over payment due to rush of work within a shorter period of time which is done usually at late night.
A huge number of accounts personal are engaged for making all above activities.
Henceforth, looking to the above issues / bottlenecks, it was felt that if the payment is make through ONLINE BANKING PAYMENT SYSTEM, the time & manpower can be saved & possibilities of making less/over payment can also be avoided.
Previously, as per procedure, the payment of T.A. & D.A. of employees/officials deputed for election duties were made in cash . The following difficulties were observed -

During Lok Sabha election, we had not sent information of TA/DA credited in their accounts. During Local Bodies Elections, we have sent SMS also about credit of TA & DA in their accounts.
This SMS was sent to all employees -Rs. 857 credited in your saving account no. 01230100000600 as Election TA.

Exception/Emergency Management in SQRS
SQRS is designed to manage any particular Exception/Emergency reported by BLO or any other field executives to the system. SQRS understand the importance of processing such message on priority basis. Even if there are numbers of SMSs (of General Category ) in queue to be processed because of there early arrival to the system, SQRS will process Exception / Emergency / Breakdown related message on priority basis.

By implementing SQRS Mobile client software at Election team member’s mobile following can be achieved.
1. Can eliminate SMS typing error at BLOs end.2. Can enforce sending of reports (of General
category) in orderly fashion3. No need to remember which report need to be send
on which mobile numberCan save time to format messages
4. Reduces training efforts 5. It can a STRUCTURED and ERROR FREE reporting
system
Note : To implement SQRS client on mobile phones it requires Java enabled mobiles
Application enhancement of SQRS can be used in Voter list updating process for example every BLO can send SMS everyday to the system for number of voters addition and deletions.
