The Amity Institute of Competitive Intelligence & Strategic Management (AICISM) is
running a Two Years’ full time course - MBA (Competitive Intelligence & Corporate
Warfare) with additional specialization in Marketing and Sales - since 25 July 2005. In
2011, the scope of the course was enlarged and it is now titled - MBA(Competitive
Intelligence & Strategic Management) with additional specialization in Marketing and
Sales. With the right mix of the subjects in Management, Competitive Intelligence,
Corporate Warfare and Strategic Management, this course is being offered for the first
time in India to bring about a change in the mind-set of our future corporate leaders.
Today’s business world is marked by hyper-competition and there is competition
everywhere. We live in an environment of change and uncertainty. This programme recognizes these factors
and deals with them. It is essential for every business to understand what its competitors are doing and what they
are planning to do. Understanding the competition is no longer just desirable in the business world, it is
essential. Those organizations which lose time in adopting the most contemporary methods of gaining
Competitive Intelligence, will leave an open door for their competitors to lead the market. Regardless of size,
businesses must be able to assess their competitors in order to predict their strategies and then to shape success
in Marketing and Sales as also in other areas.
The scope of Competitive Intelligence, is however, not limited to researching and assessing other firms and
acting to outperform them. It embraces all factors that could endanger or enhance a company’s revenues and
profits. Hence, true Competitive Intelligence can be defined as the transformation of intelligence into shared

techniques of Competitive Intelligence and Strategic
Management would now emerge as a necessity as

Towards this endeavour, Amity Institute of Competitive
Intelligence & Strategic Management was established
in 2005 at the Amity University Campus situated at
Noida. The programme MBA (Competitive Intelligence
and Strategic Management)was started under the
guidance of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President
who realized the need of a specialized course to meet
the challenges of cut-throat competition existing today.
In order to facilitate international academic exchange,
to develop academic relationships and in support of
collaborative activities, Amity has entered into a
collaboration with EISTI- Ecole Internationale Des
Sciences du Traitement de l'information. In more than
20 years, EISTI has become a key player for
professionals in the field of Information Technology
and Management. The school's Master's Degree in
Competitive Intelligence is regarded as one of the best.
EISTI is located both in Cergy Pontoise, in Val d'Oise
35 kms from Paris and in Pau in the Atlantic Pyrenees,
